Hello, I’m Katherine Frisch.
I am a public librarian with five years of experience in a rural library setting. Initially, I was drawn to librarianship through a love of reading and a desire to help others. My library philosophy can be best described through mindful interactions, advocacy, and intentionality. I approach each day with positivity and focus. As an advocate for radical librarianship, I am interested in representation within collection development, innovative programming, and community engagement. With regard to innovative programming, I am particularly interested in the intersection between nature and libraries. Specifically, in moving beyond the physical library building to incorporate the natural world into programming and daily life.
